As far as firmness goes, the mattress seems very soft and comfortable, but neither my boyfriend (who is 6″ even and 140 lbs, and yes we look a little funny together because he’s so much taller than me) nor I bottom out. In fact, we probably don’t sink more than 2″ into it. However, the softness might very well be due to the fact that I didn’t have anywhere big enough for the mattress to decompress except on top of the spring mattress, and it’s still sitting there as we’ve been too lazy to move the old one yet.
